ok, so I’ll dig a little more. going away from the number 16 a little here, but please bear with me as it follows from the two 8’s.
88 is the sign for the double helix, or dna. the letters ‘dna’ also = 82 (4 + 14 + 1 or 41 + 41).
turn the 8 on its side and you get the infinity sign or lemniscate ♾️.
free-association is fun 😀 and this is a psychological game perfectly acceptable to modern psychology. no madness here!
